But What in the Heck Do You Do With All of the Pumpkin?
By mel | October 18, 2007
You chop it into chunks…..bake it…..puree it….and make pumpkin bread and muffins, of course. We only had the patience to use less than half of our pumpkin. Had we used our whole pumpkin, we could have made nine loaves of pumpkin bread. Um, yeah…..we’re just not that into it.
The ingredients are gathered, and The Boy prepares to read the recipe…
Yeah, so we don’t have one of those cool, little sifter things…..
Look at the face on The Boy. I would say he is not a morning person, but this was after lunch.
Ready to scoop our fresh pumpkin puree. No canned stuff here. Nope.
A little bit of shell is okay, right?
But it tastes pretty good……
We burned the muffins a little…..
But the bread came out just right……
